Sicamous & District Chamber of Commerce member Shuswaggi’s General Store is once again encouraging residents and visitors to showcase the beauty of Sicamous through its annual Sicamous Photo Contest.
Whether you’re capturing breathtaking lake views, memorable family adventures, wildlife, local events, or the unique beauty that makes Sicamous such a special destination, this is your opportunity to share your favourite photos and celebrate our incredible community.
Contest Timeline
- Photo Submission Deadline: Friday, July 24, 2026
- Community Voting Begins: Saturday, July 25, 2026
- Prize Draw: Friday, July 31, 2026
Prizes
Shuswaggi’s General Store is recognizing photographers of all ages with runner-up prizes in three categories:
- 0–12 years
- 13–19 years
- Adult
In addition, every contest entry will automatically be entered into the Grand Prize draw, with more prize details to be announced soon.
Doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced photographer or simply enjoy snapping photos during your adventures around Sicamous, everyone is encouraged to participate. It’s a fun way to showcase the beauty of our community while sharing the places, people, and moments that make Sicamous unforgettable.
