Golfers, grab your partner and get ready for a fun day on the course! Chamber member Shark Shack is hosting its 2 Person Amateur Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 26, 2026, with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m.
Known for its unique floating restaurant and bar on Shuswap Lake, Shark Shack has become a favourite destination for boaters and visitors to the region. Now, they are bringing that same community spirit to the golf course for a tournament that combines friendly competition, great prizes, dinner and a good cause.
Two Formats, One Great Day of Golf
The tournament features both Men’s and Women’s Divisions and will be played as a combination of:
9-Hole Scramble
9-Hole Best Ball
There will also be multiple Hole-in-One opportunities throughout the tournament.
Teams can register for $100 for Salmon Arm Golf Club members or $145 for guests, with a $20 cart fee. The maximum handicap index difference between partners is 10 strokes.
And for those looking to get out on the course before tournament day, a Friday practice round is available for $70.
Golf for a Cause
The tournament is also supporting Second Harvest Food Bank, giving golfers an opportunity to enjoy a great day on the course while helping support an important local cause.
Registration includes dinner and prizes, so the fun doesn’t end when the final putt drops.
