On Saturday, September 19 at 6:00 p.m., the Sicamous Houseboats Marina will transform into a pirate’s paradise for an evening of great food, live music and plenty of fun — all while supporting an organization that plays a vital role in keeping people safe on our lakes and waterways.

A fantastic evening supporting our volunteer marine rescue station

There will also be a cash bar, and pirate costumes are highly encouraged! 

 

Most importantly, 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to RCMSAR Station 106 Shuswap, helping support the equipment costs, training and resources needed by our dedicated volunteers as they respond to emergencies and work to save lives on the water.

 

With so many residents and visitors enjoying the Shuswap’s lakes each year, having a trained and properly equipped volunteer marine rescue team is incredibly important. RCMSAR volunteers are there when people need help — often in challenging and unpredictable conditions.

Supporting fundraisers like this helps ensure our local rescue station can continue doing this essential work and helps keep our families, residents and visitors safer on the water.
