Chamber member Eagle Valley Arts Council and Métis Medicine warmly invite community members to gather with us in celebration of National Indigenous Day on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Red Barn Arts Centre, 1226 Riverside Avenue, Sicamous, BC
This special gathering offers an opportunity to come together in a spirit of respect, learning, understanding, and community connection**. Through shared experiences, storytelling, cultural expression, and meaningful dialogue, we can deepen our appreciation for the rich traditions, histories, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples.
Featuring:
-An Interactive Blanket Ceremony
-Grass Dance Performance by local Grass Dancer Tristan Funk
-Fresh Fried Bannock with locally foraged and prepared jam
-Coffee, conversation, and community connection
All are welcome to participate with open hearts and minds in honouring Indigenous cultures and foster respectful conversations that help build stronger relationships within our community. This is a chance to listen, learn, reflect, and celebrate together.
